The Granite City

Despite its status as the third-largest city in Scotland, there’s a wonderfully remote feel about Aberdeen.

Indeed, just beyond its borders you’ll find some of Britain’s most spectacular countryside, with mountain scenery to enjoy, glorious golf courses to tackle and isolated whisky distilleries to hunt out. The city itself is no backwater though – grand and ornate architecture looms up at every turn in the city centre, where there’s a great shopping scene and no shortage of places to relax in style.
